Telangana Govt  green signal to Movie Ticket Price hike, Chiranjeevi thanks govt

Telangana government has decided to hike the prices of the movie tickets. While the hike in ticket prices will give a reprieve to the producers and film industry, it will be an added burden for the people to come to the theaters to watch the  movies after the  Coronavirus pandemic.  Telangana Government has given nod for  hike the ticket prices to a minimum of Rs 50 and a maximum of Rs 300 in addition to allowing the theater managements to levy GST and the  maintenance charges.  Megastar Chiranjeevi ook to Twitter and thanked the Chief Minister for taking this decision in support of many people including the film producers, distributors and theater owners.

As per the government order, the  AC theaters will collect a minimum price of Rs 50 and a maximum of Rs 150 with the GST, the multiplex theaters will collect a minimum of Rs 100 and a maximum of Rs 250 (excluding GST).

The single theaters with special recliner seats can charge Rs 200 +GST and multiplexes Rs 300 plus GST.

For non-AC theaters, the minimum price is Rs 30 and maximum Rs 70.

On the outside, Chiranjeevi is  waiting for the arrival of his movie Acharya at the theaters.
