Bellamkonda Sai Sreevinas- A Bangladesh refugee in Chatrapathi remake

We have already reported that the  young actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the remake of SS Rajamouli‘ directorial venture , Chatrapathi, which starred Prabhas in the lead role. The remake of Chatrapathi will be helmed by VV Vinayak and produced by Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Studios. VV Vinayak is popular for helming Chiranjeevi starrer Khaidi No. 150.

SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus Chatrapathi had a Sri Lankan backdrop and Prabhas played a Sri Lankan refugee settled in Vizag. But now according to the latest report, the makers of Chatrapathi remake choose Bangladesh as the main backdrop and Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas will be seen playing the role of a Bangladesh refugee.

Baahubali, Manikarnika and Bajrani Bhaijaan fame Vijayendra Prasad who had penned Chatrapathi’s script, is also writing the script for its Hindi version. According to the latest buzz, the makers of the Chatrapathi remake are planning to bring Kabir Singh lady on the board to play one of the female lead and the hunt for the second female lead is on.

Prabhas starrer Chatrapathi revolved around the story of a young guy who is in search of his mother and brother, from whom he separated long back.
