Stacey Solomon, 31, has admitted that just acknowledging that her baby is a “she” has been “sending her over the edge” in an emotional Instagram video last night. The pregnant star admitted she had been sobbing over the sweet messages that many of her 4.5 million followers had been sending her after revealing the news that she and fiancé Joe Swash are expecting their first baby girl.

Stacey explained that although she is delighted to be welcoming a girl into their family of boys, she also feels slightly nervous because she “only knows” how to be a parent to sons.

Stacey lives with Joe, their two-year-old son Rex, and her two sons from previous relationships Leighton, eight, and Zachary, 12, at their new home, named Pickle Cottage.

Joe is also dad to an older son, Harry, 13, from a previous relationship.

The Loose Women panellist spoke out on her mixed emotions ahead of having a daughter while on the way to film another episode of her BBC show, Sort Your Life Out.

She admitted: “Your messages are making me cry so much

“None of this feels real at all.

“I’m currently packing to go away for work and I can’t even see what I’m packing I just love you all…

“And I can’t wait to go on this baby girl adventure with you all.”

The mum-of-three then said in a video from her car: “We are all packed and on the way and I’m just sitting here reading your messages.

“I can’t even cope so many of you are sending such lovely messages.

“Oh my God, she just saying ‘she’ and then I lose it.”

The star continued: “I don’t even know girls, do you ever think – I don’t know girls?

“We’re just so excited so over the moon, and thanks for all your lovely messages.”

Stacey went on to detail her feelings further in the captions of her videos, as she revealed she was “worrying” over not knowing what to do with a baby girl.

She penned: “I’m bringing Rex and Joe with me on this episode because it’s so far away… and I’m reading your messages just losing it.

“Just saying “she” sends me over the edge… do you ever worry you don’t know what you’re doing?

“I don’t know girls I only know boys.”

Stacey’s candid words come after she announced the news of her baby’s gender after an “emotional” scan yesterday.

Stacey revealed on Instagram on behalf of herself and Joe: “Baby Girl. I can not believe I’m writing this… We are growing a little baby girl.

“To our darling boys, you are the best big brothers anyone could wish for and you’re little sister is the luckiest girl in the world to have you all by her side.(sic)

“I honestly have no words… Mummy Daddy and ALL of your big brothers can not wait to meet you little one…

“We love you so so much already darling girl.”
