Amy Duggar Calls Cousin Josh ‘Evil’ and ‘Disgusting’ Following Child Porn Charges

Amy, who guest starred on ’19 Kids and Counting’, calls the allegeations that the 33-year-old owned receiving and possessing images showing child sexual abuse ‘sickening.’

AceShowbizAmy Duggar has reacted to child porn scandal surrounding her cousin Josh Duggar. During her appearance on “TODAY Parents” on May 27, Amy, who guest starred on “19 Kids and Counting“, called the allegeations that Josh owned receiving and possessing images showing child sexual abuse “sickening.”

“Who wouldn’t worry about that? My heart goes out to all those innocent, sweet victims,” Amy said during the interview. “It breaks my heart. I really hope justice is served.”

Amy, who shares 19-month-old child Daxton Ryan with husband Dillon, continued, “I will just say that whatever you do in the darkness comes out in the light. If you’re going to look at such disgusting and sickening images, justice has to be served. To look at my little guy who is 19 months old… my heart and my brain cannot comprehend that.”

“It blows my mind. It’s heartbreaking and disgusting and evil. It’s so evil. I want nothing to do with it,” Amy went on to blast Josh, who pleaded no guilty to the accusations.

Josh, the eldest child of Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar, was arrested by Homeland Security and charged with receiving and possessing material depicting the sexual abuse of children between the ages of 18 months to 12 years of age. He has pleaded not guilty in the case and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

The 33-year-old’s lawyer said, “We intend to defend this case aggressively and thoroughly. In this country, no one can stop prosecutors from charging a crime. But when you’re accused, you can fight back in the courtroom–and that is exactly what Josh intends to do.”

Meanwhile, Josh’s wife Anna Duggar, who is currently pregnant with their seventh child, is allegedly “standing by” her husband. A source claimed, “She thinks Josh is innocent.”
