TSRTC to operate more than 4 Thousand Special Buses for Sankranthi

TSRTC has good news for those who want to go home on the occasion of Sankranti festival. TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar revealed that 4233 special buses will be run at the same time keeping in mind the rush of passengers for Sankranti festival. It has been announced that these special buses will be available from 7th to 15th January next year. He clarified that these special buses will be diverted to different parts of Telangana as well as AP.

To avoid traffic jams during the Sankranti season, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has decided to operate 4233 special buses between Hyderabad and various destinations in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other neighboring States.

VC Sajjanar also announced  few changes in advance bookings. Earlier, TSRTC buses had the facility of advance booking 30 days in advance, but now that time has been increased to 60 days. He said that ticket reservation for TSRTC buses could be made 60 days in advance till June next year.

 VC  Sajjanar clarified to the officials that last year only 3736 special buses were run during Sankranthi festival, but this time the number of buses has been increased by 10 %. He added that out of 4233 special buses announced for this Sankranti, advance bookings have already started  for  585 buses.
