Few days ago the film maker RGV aka Ram Gopal Varma was in the news headlined when Miyapur police registered a cheating case against him. The complainant approached court alleging that RGV borrowed 56 lakh from him for production of a movie ‘Disha’ in 2020 and later cheated him. Miyapur police received a complaint from K Sekhar Raju, proprietor of Sekhara Art Creations in Kukatpally on 21st May.
Ram Gopal Varma who is an active user of the social media took to his twitter to give a big update on the cheating case that was filed against him. Satya director said the Telangana High Court issued orders to stay the further proceedings in the cheating case and the filmmaker informed everyone that the further details in the case will be updated by himself.
RGV wrote : To all those who reported about the case filed on me by Sekhar Raju with Miyapur police and in due course tarnished my reputation,I would like to report that the honourable Telangana High Court stayed all further proceedings in the case. Will update further details.
On the otherside Miyapuri SI said. “We registered a case against RGV under sections 406, 417, 420, 506 IPC against Ram Gopal Varma.”
