How does Srinivas Sripada solves the tribal issues in the village. Who is Lakshmi (Anandi)? To get these answers, one should watch Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam on silver screen.
Plus Points:
· Allari Naresh
· Screenplay
· Hard hitting climax
· Interval bang
Minus Points:
· Slow pace
Performance: Allari Naresh, who is best known for his comic roles, has taken a serious film this time and he delivers his best. Once again he gives a sincere performance in this movie. He plays his role with utmost perfection. Anandi looks beautiful and she has given a settled performance. Vennela Kishore impressed everyone with his act. His dialogue delivery, and funny antics are highlighted. Shritej gets a meaty role. Sampath as the collector and Praveen as a village guy justify with their roles. Rest of the cast perform accordingly.
Technical: The film Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam has an interesting backdrop and neat performances. Though the proceedings look predictable, the scenes hold the attention. Interval bang is good. The dialogues written by Abburi Ravi are mind blowing. He wrote meaningful dialogues like ‘It doesn’t matter if you make a mistake and get punished, If you help you don’t get hurt’, ‘If you help, you are a man, If you attack, you are a beast’, ‘We all want to become great, but no one is becoming a man’. His words changed some scenes strongly. Cinematography is ok. There is no sparkle in terms of music.
Analysis: Films in the wake of elections are not new to Tollywood. There are dialogues in many movies that politicians and officials remember the people only during the elections. What if a whole village turned against them during the election to solve their problems- Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam is all about it.
