Fire breaks out in 5-storey building in Secunderabad, 3 missing

Secunderabad Fire accident : A major fire broke out in a five storey building in the Ramgopalpet area in Hyderabad’s Secunderabad. This incident took place on Thursday. 7 fire tenders were rushed to the site to bring blaze under the control.

According to DCP central zone, the massive  fire broke out around 11:30 am on ground floor and the 1st floor of a five storey building in Secunderabad.  And it could not be controlled until 6 pm. The ground and 1st  floor had the sportswear fabric showroom. The fire broke out from car parts store and later spread to the floors above. Residents of Ramgopalpeta in Secunderabad were left in shock after  the fire broke out at the Deccan sports complex. 3 people who entered the building to rescue those trapped are now missing.  As many as twenty two fire trucks had to be at work to put down the fire and almost ninety firemen participated in the rescue operation.

 Telangana Minister has ordered immediate demolition of 6 floor building, citing concerns over its deteriorating condition. The owner of the building is also facing legal action for the  constructing 2 extra floors without any  permission.

The reason for the massive fire is not known yet.
