Daggubati Venkateswara Rao sensational decision, Announcement of quitting politics

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, elder son-in-law of late leader and former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, took a sensational decision on  the occasion of Sankranthi.  Daggubati Venkateswara Rao announced that he is quitting politics. 

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao  announced that along with him, his son is saying goodbye to politics. He clarified that only Purandheswari from the family will be active in the politics. Daggubati Venkateswara Rao announced this shocking news during the NTR centenary celebrations held in Inkollu of Prakasam district.. On Saturday, he attended the festivities as the chief guest. He revealed that his family is not used to getting involved in politics and party achievements with money, politics in the past and today is not compatible.. That’s why Hitesh and himself are completely quitting from politics.

They said that they are not suitable for today’s politics, that’s why they are quitting completely.

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao won as MLA three times consecutively on behalf of TDP. He also worked as a minister. He is an MP. He joined the BJP only after the TDP crisis. After that Venkateswara Rao was in Congress from 2004 to 2014. He won twice from Parchur. Daggubati, who was silent for almost five years after the state bifurcation, joined the YCP before the 2019 elections. Venkateswara Rao contested from Parchur on behalf of YCP and lost. Even after the defeat, he did not talk much about politics.
