Yesterday, Telangana High Court gave a 48 hour ultimatum to the TRS government to take a decision on imposing a lockdown to tackle the rising Coronavirus cases in state. The High Court says that within 48 hours, the government must decide on a lockdown or curfew, otherwise the court shall issue the orders. Now according to the latest report, Telangana Chief Minister KCR ( K Chandrashekar Rao) has been tested positive for Coronavirus. Chief secretary Somesh Kumar revealed the Chief Minister KCR had been advised isolation and he would remain at his farmhouse for few days.
Telangana CM KCR had mild symptoms, following which he had undergone Coronavirus tests. The personal doctor of CM KCR said they had conducted antigen test as well as RT-PCR test. The results were positive. KCR had only mild symptoms. They advised KCR to remain in home isolation for nine days. KCR complained of uneasiness on Monday, after which the tests for Coronavirus were done.
IT Minister and son of CM KCR- KTR confirmed the same by sharing a post on twitter as he said, “Hon’ble CM KCR garu has tested positive for Covid 19 with mild symptoms.”
On the otherside, Telangana court asked the govt for “ward wise data” on +ive Coronavirus cases in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
