TOWIE newcomer Junaid ‘lives and breathes drama’ and admits he will ‘ruffle feathers’

Junaid Ahmed looked happier than ever when he revealed to OK! he can't imagine life without TOWIE after joining the cast this season.

Many will recognise Junaid from Lovestruck High, but the 27 year old tells us he is "loving every single minute" with being a part of The Only Way is Essex family.

OK! attended the official TOWIE launch party at Aqua Nueva where we saw the Essex stars dress up to the nines as they came together to look back on the show. Here, we speak to Junaid about joining the cast and what we can expect from the gang's time in the Caribbean…

Hi Junaid, how are you doing since joining the TOWIE family?

Really good, good. I’m loving every single minute. It's a dream come true.

How has it been with everyone?

It's been amazing. And I'm just I've just loved it. I'm so sad we’ve almost finished filming. It’s gone really quick! But being in TOWIE is like having another family.

How did it come about?

I've been in talks with TOWIE for years. Yeah, so we've been in talks with the producer. I've been in touch the last couple of years, but after doing Lovestruck High last year, TOWIE then got in touch. I was screaming!

I had a meeting with the execs, and it was just amazing, but it makes sense. Like all my best friends on the show. It just naturally made sense to me.

Do you think it could be quite daunting if you didn’t know anyone?

Yeah, I think for any new person coming in, it's quite a scary thing when everyone knows each other inside and out already. But for me, I knew everyone anyway. So, I was really lucky.

How do you deal with drama?

I live and breathe drama. Wherever the drama is, I want to be there. I’m not shy to speak my mind when it’s necessary. I’m going to ruffle a few feathers. Joining the show was the best thing I ever did.

Are you single?

I am! I'm getting to know a few different people. I'm not like tied down to anyone.

I'm just single and having a good time. Enjoying myself is the priority!

Are there any shows you would love to do in the future?

Honestly, Celebs Go Dating would be so fun. I also think I would be great on Dancing On Ice, sign me up!
