The Lionesses look ready to roar as they depart Oz hotel after much-needed day off ahead of Colombia showdown… while player-turned-pundit Jill Scott kicks back in a bar
They have been roaring their way through the World Cup.
So England’s Lionesses were certainly due a break, as they took a day off on Thursday before returning to training the following day ahead of their showdown quarter-final clash with Colombia on Saturday.
Led by stars including Chloe Kelly, who shared a sweet snap showing her reunion with her boyfriend Scott on the day of relaxation, the group headed to their coach in the beaming Australia sun, before doing their final prep for the big match.
Throwing her support behind the team, which also includes Lucy Bronze, Rachel Daly, Katie Zelem, Millie Bright, Alex Greenwood, Georgia Stanway and Jess Carter, was Jill Scott who retired last year, as she was seen hitting a bar in Bondi Beach.
The reigning I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here champion braced herself for the heat in a T-shirt and shorts in a break from her pundit work at the tournament.

Striker Chloe took to Instagram to share a sweet snap with Scott as they relaxed on the beach near to the team’s base camp in Terrigal.
They were joined by Chloe’s dad Noel, who has joined her in Australia since the beginning of the tournament, while Scott was a late arrival.
Elsewhere, Bethany England enjoyed a day with her mum Lisa and twin Laura.
Captain Millie Bright and pal Rachel Daly hit the beach with a group of family, while Lauren Hemp and Katie Zelem were spotted with friends.
After their day off, the Lionesses were pictured getting put through their paces ahead of the game. The squad booked their place in the final eight after a dramatic penalty win over Nigeria, where Chloe Kelly scored a thumping winner.
However, it’s been far from the tournament that England had been hoping for in terms of on-pitch performances and they’ll look to rectify that with hard work.

The Lionesses will be without Chelsea star Lauren James after her dramatic sending off in the last round after she stamped on one of Nigeria’s stars.

Spirits looked high in England camp ahead of their clash with Colombia, where they will face 18-year-old sensation Linda Caicedo.
Despite the fact they have won all of their matches in the competition, there is still a feeling that England have a lot to work on Down Under.
Their 1-0 wins of Haiti and Denmark left a lot to be desired and their struggle to beat Nigeria threw up lingering concerns about Wiegman’s side.
A number of England’s stars will have been sure to put in a shift in training, with James’ suspension leaving a space to be filled in the starting line-up.
The likes of Georgia Stanway, Chloe Kelly and Alessia Russo will be hoping to take the spot of James for the Colombia clash.
