Rod Stewart has kindly used his platform to help his backing singer find her lost luggage.

Joanne Harper publicly called for British Airways to look into where her suitcase is after she was allegedly told it was in three different locations.

Alongside an angry face emoji, the singer ranted on Instagram: “Still no case, one minute it’s in Manchester, next it’s in London then in Dallas, my whole life is in there @British_Airways.”

In a bid to solve the mishap faster, Rod shared the post in view of his 1.3 million followers.

He tagged the airline in his Story, writing: “Please help my background singer Joanne be reunited with her luggage.”

Joanne expressed her gratitude at Rod bringing more attention to the problem by sharing a heart and prayer emoji on her page.

The singer’s post came following a brief break back home from Spain, where she and the rockstar performed across the country.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for British Airways for comment.

Joanne is yet to provide an update but has since shared moments of her back on stage with the rockstar in North America.

Alongside the Maggie May hitmaker, she was filmed belting out vocals at Ball Arena in Denver, one of their many scheduled shows.

Rod and his team will also be heading to Caesars Place in Las Vegas later this year for his residency.

Despite already being 76 and having a successful career under his belt, the singer shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Back in June, he responded to speculation he may be retiring.

Online he defiantly wrote: “I shall never retire!

“I’d like to clear up any confusion that I may have caused with my dear fans and the media.

“I was put on this earth to be a singer and will keep doing so for as long as the good Lord lets me.”

He also explained that he will be transitioning from rock to “big band/swing music” once his tour ends, as it’s his “newest passion”.

That being said, the singer promised he will not turn his back on his greatest hits.

He said of his songs: “They are like my children. I created them and I love them. I’ll always come back to them.

“I look forward to seeing you on the road with all the hits, and I can’t wait to introduce you to my new swing album next year.”

Away from his music, the performer is also a father to eight children, ranging from 12 to 50 years old.

He has been married three times, most recently to Penny Lancaster since 2007.
