Owners of field where Prince Harry lost virginity ‘could put a blue plaque up’

Prince Harry left readers of his memoir shocked when he discussed losing his virginity in an outdoors romp with an "older woman."

Recalling the occasion, the Prince described the encounter as a "humiliating episode with an older woman who liked macho horses and who treated me like a young stallion."

He continued: "I mounted her quickly, after which she spanked my a** and sent me away. One of my many mistakes was letting it happen in a field, just behind a very busy pub. No doubt someone had seen us."

The site where the romp took place was owned by The Vine Tree Inn in 2001, but has since been purchased by Dean Ellwood and partner Anna Pitt-Stanley, who live in a cottage right next to the site.

Speaking to The Sun, Dean said: "I suppose I could put a blue plaque up in the field, but I don’t think many people would be interested."

While Anna added: "Everyone in the village is talking about it but I don’t think we will be setting up a gift shop selling memorabilia."

While the "older woman" in question hasn't been named by Harry, former Highgrove employee, Sasha Walpole, who was 18 at the time, has come out and claimed it was her.

Speaking to The Sun, Sasha explained: “I am the woman who took Harry’s virginity. It was literally wham-bam between two friends. The sex was passionate and sparky because we shouldn’t have been doing it.

“One thing just quickly led to another. We ended up on the floor.”

In a video interview with the outlet, Sasha added that she was rather surprised that the 2001 romp had been included in the book, and added that she had not be warned before publication.

She said: "I’ve kept this a secret for 21 years. I would never have said anything if he hadn’t have put it in his book. I’m here to tell my story in my words. I am the lady that Prince Harry wrote about in his book who he lost his virginity to."

Discussing her apparent surprise at this being mentioned in the book, Sasha continued: "I’m surprised Harry put it in his book. It was such a long time ago, we were teenagers. It just doesn’t really seem a big deal to me because I’ve obviously known for so long.

“Nobody from back then would be surprised that it was me and Harry. A lot of people knew about it.”

Sasha added that she wasn't sure why Harry went into so much detail, suggested that he could have just written that he lost his virginity and left it at that.
