Orlando Bloom ‘immensely proud’ of fiancee Katy Perry after Coronation

Orlando Bloom, 46, has shared a rare Instagram post gushing over his pop superstar fiancee, Katy Perry, 38, after her performance at the Coronation Concert.

The film star revealed he was “immensely proud” of his other half as he uploaded two pictures from Sunday night.

In one of the snaps, Perry could be seen beaming as she performed for the Royal Family and thousands of Britons on the huge stage.

The California Gurls singer looked fabulous in a gold lamé Vivienne Westwood gown and with her hair pulled back into a low bun.

Captioning the post, which was shared in view of Bloom’s 6.8 million followers, he wrote: “Immensely proud of you my love. You always bring the light.”

The performance was accompanied by a dazzling light display which lit up the audience and the sky.

Regal decoration and the image of a lion were also projected onto the halo-like screen above the stage and the other surrounding monitors.

Ahead of her performance of her song Firework, Perry told the cheering crowd of around 20,000 people: “I am so happy to be here with you people, I love you so much.

“I’m so happy to celebrate this whole weekend. I got to bring my mum, she is so happy to be here and we get to stay in Windsor Castle – no big deal.”
