Lucy Verasamy, 40, shared humorous snaps of her windswept hair as she walked in London today. The weather presenter gave an update about the weather with the use of selfies instead of her usual map on her Instagram page, where she has 148,000 followers.

The ITV regular showed how strong the wind in the capital city was today in three selfies, one which showed her hair covering her face.

Lucy attempted to smile in another picture, as her brunette locks blew in the wind.

The presenter seemed to be out on a casual trip as she sported glasses and a denim top accompanied with a backpack.

In view of her 148,000 followers, she wrote: “Windy City. A bit of a blow dry before the rain.”

Many of her fans flocked to her post to comment.

One user wrote: “A tad windy out then,” while another commented: “Love it,” alongside a crying with laughter emoji.

“Still stunning,” a third added.

A fourth penned: “Always looking gorgeous, as a fifth wrote: “Liking the windswept look.”

It’s not the first time Lucy has been caught in poor weather conditions this week.

The brunette beauty shared a picture while stuck in the rain.

Despite being unimpressed by the weather, she appeared to be prepared as she wore a rain mac and cap.

She commented: “Rain roulette. It was pouring mere seconds before this was taken. This month is just sunshine in fits & starts.

“At least the days are long this time of year, even if the skies are grey & grumpy.

“After a remarkably dry & bright April, May is more than making up for it.”

Lucy previously revealed she reads messages from fans as she detailed some of the comments she had received.

She told Daily Express: “People see presenters in their living rooms day in, day out and they think that they know us. The public can be very vocal.

“The comments on Twitter are always really active. I read everything.

“I get comments saying my arms are lovely and toned and others saying I look too thin, you can’t do right for doing wrong.”

On how she got her break in weather presenting, Lucy said she was in the place at the right time.

“I sort of got trained in house, worked there for a few years and then a few years later I ended up at Sky News,” she spilled.

“It was all a bit flukey and being at the right place at the right time.”
