Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been formally charged with a DUI following his November arrest in 2020.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that the 43-year-old actor had been charged with the misdemeanor, US Weekly reports.
Jonathan is facing one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and was additionally charged with driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more, documents report.
Prosecutors filed the case on December 30, just days ahead of 2021, and he is due in court on February 25.
Jonathan reportedly was involved in a solo minor car accident in Malibu, Calif., in November, and failed a field sobriety test at that time.
Bail at the time was set at $5,000 and he was released on November 9.
Jonathan has been to rehab a few times over the years.
