Sorry, Olivia Wilde, but Emily Ratajkowski doesn’t seem to care about breaking girl code!
In a new interview for Elle’s Women Of Impact edition out on Tuesday, the model revealed she is no longer overthinking any of her decisions in life. And while she said all this before she was caught kissing her friend Olivia’s ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, we’d say it perfectly encapsulates her thoughts on this scandal!
The 31-year-old explained her motto in life while recalling a moment she shared with her 2-year-old son Sylvester, whom she shares with her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, saying:
“I’m definitely in a giving-no-f**ks period of my life. I was playing with my son, building his magnet tiles with him, and I was like, ‘Huh, I wonder if I’m going to come out of this period and be like, Damn, I really give a f**k now, and I wish I had handled things differently.’”
Hmm. She knows she’s playing with fire!
She then complained about how challenging it has been to navigate her dating life in the public eye. Recalling a recent episode of her High Low podcast, she said she made a joke that was quickly taken out of context by listeners, sharing:
“On the Olivia Ponton , I made a joke about how I attract the worst men. And immediately it’s put into the context of somebody I dated very briefly…It’s so frustrating because everything’s taken completely out of context. That episode was recorded months ago.”
After her divorce, the former child star has been linked to numerous high-profile celebs like Pete Davidson, Brad Pitt, and Eric Andre. As you can imagine, she’s struggled to casually date with the paparazzi attention, but it certainly doesn’t help to have fans analyzing everything either. All this time in the spotlight has only made her more apt to not give a f**k about what others think, she noted:
“I felt like I was constantly negotiating things in a way that was making me very meek. I’ve stopped caring so much, which is, funny enough, an act of taking control. I’ve accepted what I can and can’t control, and found joy in things that I can. And the podcast is one of them.”
Well, then! Seems like she might have realized kissing her friend’s ex was a bad idea and did it anyway!
As we’ve been following, the iCarly alum and Watermelon Sugar crooner were caught on camera making out in Tokyo, Japan over the weekend. According to an ET insider, they’re each really into the new fling, they dished:
“Harry and Emily have known each other for a while and have always had a strong attraction to one another. Harry thinks Emily is cool and beautiful and has always liked her. For now, they’re having fun together.”
Yet another source for Page Six on Monday claimed Emily was “begging for forgiveness” after the major “betrayal.” Doubt she cares about hurting someone’s feelings with this kinda attitude, though! Thoughts?
