Demi Lovato Reportedly Dating ‘Super Great’ Musician Two Years After Max Ehrich Messy Split

The ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ hitmaker broke up with Max and called off their marriage in September 2020 after finding out that he was only dating her for publicity.

AceShowbizDemi Lovato has a new man in her life. If a new report is to be believed, the “Sorry Not Sorry” hitmaker, who recently changed her pronouns back to she/her, is dating a fellow musician two years after her messy breakup from Max Ehrich.

PEOPLE reported on Monday, August 8 that the 29-year-old singer/songwriter is in “a really happy and healthy relationship.” A source also told the outlet that her new boyfriend “is a super great guy.”

This will be Demi’s first serious relationship since she ended her engagement with Max in September 2020. The “Stone Cold” hitmaker and Max first began dating in March 2020 before getting engaged just four months later. However, by September, it’s unveiled that the songstress had ended their relationship after finding out he was only dating her for publicity.

Demi, who opened up about being pansexual in March last year, is about to drop her eighth studio album “Holy Fvck” which seemingly talks about her relationship with her ex Wilmer Valderrama. On the single titled “29”, she appears to diss Wilmer over their 12-year age gap. The two began dating when the actor was 29 and she was 17.

“Finally 29/ Funny, just like you were you at the time/ Thought it was a teenage dream/ Just a fantasy/ But was it yours or was it mine?” Demi sings. In addition to repeating “17, 29” in the tune, the “Camp Rock” star mentions being “too young to drink wine.” She continues singing, “Just five years of bleeders, student and a teacher/ Far from innocent/ What the f**k’s consent?/ Numbers told you not to/ But that didn’t stop you.”

Demi started dating Wilmer in 2010. They had an on-and-off relationship until they split for good in 2016. The “NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service” star remained supportive of her after their split, with the actor visiting her in the hospital after her 2018 accidental overdose.
