David Byrne joined Miley Cyrus to perform a cover of David Bowie‘s “Let’s Dance” during “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party.”
The former Talking Heads frontman also duetted his own “Everybody’s Coming to My House” with Cyrus.
He took the stage for the third time in support of Sia for her performance of “Unstoppable.”
During her annual New Year’s Eve special music show, Cyrus also announced plans to release a new single, “Flowers.”
The New Year’s Eve bash also featured performances by rapper Latto, hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, singer-songwriter Fletcher, rock band Liily, Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman and Sarah Sherman, and comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy.
Cyrus and Dolly Parton co-hosted the event, which was aired live on NBC.
The 76-year-old country music icon and her goddaughter teamed up for a number of songs, including “Wrecking Ball,” “Jolene,” “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” “Walking After Midnight” and “I Will Always Love You.”
