Adele bagged a ticket to the hottest Oscars 2021 after party in town after being spotted on a night out among the likes of Drake and Daniel Kaluuya.

The Someone Like You singer has retreated into her lowkey bubble in recent months after hosting Saturday Night Live in October. However, she was clearly just biding her time to let her hair down on Hollywood’s prestigious night to celebrate the Academy Awards.

Adele, 32, rocked up to an after party hosted by best supporting actor Oscar winner Daniel in Los Angeles on Sunday night. She stood out and looked fabulous in a lime green coat with feathered sleeves by Lapointe, which retails for a cool £3,210.

As the drinks flowed, the singer was spotted singing and dancing along to Jennifer Lopez and Ja Rule’s hit single I’m Real with a large group of friends. Leading them into the song like the true performer she is, Adele is heard shouting: ‘Here we go,’ before starting the song’s intro.

At one point, Adele was seen jokingly pointing at a male friend and giving him side-eye before partying on. According to the bartending company who worked the event, the musician ‘loved’ their Moscow Mule cocktails and was spotted sipping away throughout the night.

Judas and the Black Messiah actress Amber Chardae Robinson managed to grab a selfie with the pop star, while Drake was seen hanging out with his own crew in another section of the bar.

It’s no surprise that Drake rocked up in the same place as Adele as the pair are known to be good friends and have been seen partying together several times over the years.

As a guest delivered a speech to the intimate party, Adele was spotted standing in a corner prompting an Instagram user to caption the footage: ‘Adele said social distancing.’

The last time Adele was spotted in public, she was pictured knocking back drinks while sitting on a kerbside with friends towards the end of 2020.

She made her most recent official appearance hosting SNL last year. During her opening monologue, Adele referenced her weight loss and her ever elusive fourth studio album, which fans are still in the dark about with no release date set.

In March, it was revealed that Adele’s divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki had been finalised two years after their split.

According to Us Weekly, they chose to ‘represent themselves’ in the case, and determined the rights to their community property and debts through mediation.

The former couple, who are notoriously private, are yet to speak publicly over the development.

Adele and Simon first met in 2011, and welcomed their son the following year.
