Cricket legend Imran Khan, leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, declared victory on Thursday in a divisive election amid widespread allegations of rigging. As Reuters reported, the 65-year-old Khan’s success is a stunning rise for a politician who spent much of his career on the fringes of Pakistan politics, but now is Prime Minister-elect.
