After delivering a Rs 300 crore blockbuster War, Hrithik Roshan returns to the action genre with Fighter.
The film reunites him with his War and Bang Bang Director Siddharth Anand, but what makes it extra special is that Duggu stars opposite Deepika Padukone for the first time!
Hrithik has confirmed his presence in Vikram Vedha as well.
Ever since R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupati came together in Vikram Vedha, Bollywood has been looking to adapt the dark and intense actioner in Hindi.
Hrithik joins Saif Ali Khan in this Pushkar and Gayathri directed film.

The actor made sure that his macho avatar did the trick for him as he shared the screen with rising superstar Tiger Shroff.

Krrish 3
Box office collection: Rs 244.92 crore
Bollywood’s only superhero franchise, everyone is waiting for the fourth installment of Krrish.
Though Director Rakesh Roshan mentioned the film would go on floors, we will have to wait for at least two years for its release.
Till then, one can watch Hrithik in action in Krrish 3.
Bang Bang
Box office collection: Rs 181 crore
Bang Bang took a bumper opening on its release.
Hrithik was just the right fit as he played a spy opposite Katrina Kaif, and their chemistry was sizzling!
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film’s chartbuster music helped too.
Agneepath
Box office collection: Rs 115 crore
Hrithik has been known for playing parts which have a Westernised appeal.
But the Agneepath remake was as desi as it got when he stepped into Amitabh Bachchan’s shoes and played one of his most famous characters, Vijay Deenanath Chauhan.
One may have missed AB’s baritone and style, but Hrithik won over audiences.
Dhoom: 2
Box office collection: Rs 82 crore
Hrithik had the style quotient going well in Dhoom: 2, a franchise known for its antagonist to be as suave as he is bad.
In a bronze avatar, Hrithik looked good with Aishwarya Rai, and the Yash Raj film was a blockbuster.
Krrish
Box office collection: Rs 69 crore
The film which gave birth to Krrish as a franchise was second in the series after Koi… Mil Gaya which started as a standalone film.
But once Rakesh Roshan cracked the idea of taking the franchise forward with Hrithik as a bonafide superhero, there was no looking back.
Playing a father as well as son, Hrithik brought his superpowers into play.
Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai
Box office collection: Rs 44.28 crore
Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai was an out and out masala film which saw Hrithik make his debut as a leading man.
He didn’t throw a punch in the entire first half where he played a simpleton.
But things changed in the second half, especially towards the climax, when his double role avatar came to the fore and an action hero was born!
Mission Kashmir
Box office collections: Rs 23 crore
Hrithik became an overnight star with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, and Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra presented him as a complete hero in Mission Kashmir.
With Sanjay Dutt as the senior lead and Jackie Shroff as the antagonist, Hrithik was more than just a lover boy or doting son.
He was also the quintessential hero who took on the terrorists.
