The ‘Riverdale’ actor made his first late night appearance since the death of his costar.
Appearing on "The Late Late Show" on Thursday night, Cole Sprouse paid tribute to late "Riverdale" costar Luke Perry.
While the young actor was on the show to promote his upcoming movie, "Five Feet Apart," host James Corden quickly asked how he and the rest of his "Riverdale" family is coping after Perry passed away earlier this week.
"We’re recovering. We’re all going through the paces," said Sprouse.
"Luke was one of those guys that would much rather have us laughing and telling stories about his life than lamenting it," he continued. "He was a good man. He was one of the guys that you never heard a bad thing said about him ever in Hollywood."
"Out of respect for the privacy of his family during this time, I said yeah, I’m just trying to keep it brief," he added.
The 52-year-old "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum passed away at the age of 52 on Tuesday, after suffering a stroke the week before. He’s survived by his two children with ex-wife Rachel Minnie Sharp, Jack, 21, and Sophie, 18.
Sprouse’s comments come after almost everyone in the "Riverdale" cast have shared their own heartfelt tributes to Perry on social media.
