The weather has been nice but there’s a little bit of cloud cover, nothing major. Still very warm in the middle. It is a very hard surface. There’s a little bit of dryness. There’s also going to be a little bit of spin for Shadab and Sodhi.
We are going to bowl first. We have changed our team and strengthened the batting – that’s why we are chasing. We have three changes. The conditions are different and most of the guys are touring New Zealand for the first time. Hopefully they adapt here and do well. He (Hafeez) has been playing well since last year. The youngsters should learn from him on how to build an innings: Shadab Khan.
