The film maker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV is currently busy in his upcoming film D Company, which is based on the Mumbai based D Company and is headed by Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar. On Saturday, RGV took to his Twitter and released the teaser of his upcoming film, D Company. With this film, he is making his comeback to his favorite genre of gangster movies.
About the movie D Company, Officer helmer RGV said, “D Company is not just about Dawood Ibrahim but it is about the number of the people who lived and died under its shadow. The film D Company is bankrolled by SPARK.” Ram Gopal Varma describes the film D Company as “Mahabharat of Underworld”.
The film D Company, set in the 1980s against Bombay backdrop, is all about how Dawood Ibrahim emerged in the underworld.
Satya helmer also said that D Company is going to be the mother of all gangster films because it will tell the story of the father of gangsterism whose name is Dawood Ibrahim.
The sources say that the film D Company will also narrate the story of other gangsters who lived and died under D Company.
The film D Company will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
