Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth had gone to Kauvery hospital in Chennai for a routine checkup, where he later had to be admitted. Darbar actor, who was in New Delhi a few days back to receive the esteemed Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to cinema, is currently in the hospital. Though the actor’ well-wishers assured fans and media that there was no cause for concern, sources confirmed that Rajinikanth underwent an MRI scan that revealed a burst blood vessel.
The reports are coming that Rajinikanth had suffered a burst blood vessel, which was revealed in an MRI scan. He is said to have been diagnosed with infarction, the condition caused by obstruction of blood supply to an organ or region of tissue, typically by a thrombus or embolus.
Rajinikanth’ relative, Y Gee Mahendran, visited at the hospital and shared the actor’ health update with the media. Y Gee Mahendran said that Petta actor is likely to be discharged from the hospital before the release of rural and family drama Annaatthe. He is taking rest at the hospital. The movie Annaatthe, helmed by Siva will release in theatres on 4th November.
On 25th October, Rajinikanth was in New Delhi where he received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. After the ceremony, he met President Kovind and PM Narendra Modi.
