Assembly Election Results 2021: The counting of votes is going on in West Bengal, Kerala, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry assembly elections. In WB, Mamata Banerjee‘s TMC- Trinamool Congress is leading. The Left is on the way to a big win in Kerala, DMK in Tamil Nadu state and the BJP- Bharitya Janatha Party in Assam.
Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress is leading in 213 of Bengal’s 294 seats and the Bharitya Janatha Party looks set to finish below the 100 mark.
Mamata Banerjee looks set to win a 3rd term in West Bengal, the DMK is heading for victory in Tamil Nadu, the BJP- Bharitya Janatha party is leading in Assam and the LDF- Left Democratic Front in Kerala in the counting of votes for state polls.
Kailash Vijayvargiya has credited Mamata Banerjee for the TMC- Trinamool Congress’ astounding performance in Bengal elections, and added that his party would introspect the poll results. Kailash Vijayvargiya also added that he has received a call from Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who enquired about the poor show of the party.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated Mamata Banerjee for TMC’s good performance in West Bengal polls.
On the otherside, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “this is Bengal’s victory.”
