Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna has turned out a blockbuster at the box office. Not many know that Hindi actor, Shreyas Talpade dubbed for Allu Arjun’s voice in the Hindi version of Sukumar’ magnum opus which is bankrolled by Myrthi Movie Makers. Recently during the media interaction, when Shreyas Talpade was asked, what he will do when he bumps into Allu Arjun, to which he replied, “I will give a big hug and kiss to Allu Arjun and thank him for Pushpa”.
Shreyas Talpade added that the hype even reached his family with his daughter referring to him as Pushpa as well. He added, “My daughter was away from all the Pushpa: the Rise fever most of the time but once she came on the shoot and suddenly everybody around was talking about this rural drama Pushpa. One day when she was going to sleep and when I greeted her, she said to me, ‘Good night, Pushpa’.
Having grossed over Rs 335 Cr, the film Pushpa: The Rise is the most successful Indian film of 2021. The Hindi version alone contributed to over Rs100 Cr of that. Only four movies ( Baahubali: The Conclsuion, Baahubali: The Beginning, Saaho, 2.0) from the south have ever had Hindi dubbed versions earning more than this.
