Former AP CM Konijeti Rosaiah passes away

Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Former Governor of Tamil Nadu, Senior Politician Konijeti Rosaiah passed away. He took his last breath today morning. He was 88. Rosaiah was admitted to a  private hospital after complaining of the low BP but he was declared dead by the doctors  on the way to the hospital.

Konijeti Rosaiah was Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2009 to 2010.  He also served as the Governor of Karnataka for two months and the Governor of Tamil Nadu from 2011 to 2016. He was also an MLC, MLA and MP from the Indian National Congress numerous times and he  handled many ministerial posts over his long political career spanning over half a century.

Rosaiah was one of the most experienced political leaders in Andhra Pradesh state. While serving as Governor of TN, he was also given additional responsibility as the  Governor of Karnataka when Governor HR Bhardwaj’s term ended on 28th June 2014, until Vajubhai Vala took over on 1st  September 2014. After  the completion of his five year term as Governor of TN he took retirement from  the politics.
