Virudhunagar dialect in Paris Paris

English teacher, poet and orator Tamizhachi Thangapandian, who first stepped into the film world as a lyricist, has now become a dialogue writer for
Paris Paris,
a movie directed by actor Ramesh Aravind.

She has also penned two songs for the film, a remake of the Hindi movie
Queen
. “I was approached because the first half of the story takes place in Virudhunagar, my home town and I am also comfortable with the local language,” Ms Thangapandian told

.

It is a heroine-centric film and the lead role is played by Kajal Agarwal. Ms .Thangapandian, who first wrote a song for the film
Nachiyaar
, said
Paris Paris
was being made into Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. Ramesh Aravind was working on the Tamil and Kannada versions. The shooting was delayed because of the strike in the film industry.
