Former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee who suffered a mild brain haemorrhage on Monday remains critical.
“There was some improvement on Tuesday and Wednesday but now it is similar to the condition in which he was admitted on Monday,” a spokesperson of the Belle View Clinic said on Friday.
According to hospital authorities, the 88- year-old has other complications and efforts are on to provide the best possible care to him. The hospital authorities said he was responding to treatment and there had been no deterioration in his condition.
