The State Bank of India will hold ‘Festive Expo’ at Gurajada Kalabharathi Auditorium near the TTD Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple here on Saturday and Sunday. As many as 17 stalls would be organised to issue home, car, education and other loans, according to SBI regional manager D.Madhu Babu and deputy manager Gatta Satyanarayana.
Addressing a media conference here, Mr.Madhu Babu said the bank was offering home loans at 8.9% interest and 8.7% in case of properties taken in the name of women.
The bank had targeted Rs. 116 crore home loans this year and would give wide publicity about its attractive interest rates, easy processing system and subsidy of up to Rs. 2.67 lakh under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana for first time buyers of homes. “There will be no processing fee for home, takeovers and top-up loans,” he added.
