The Andhra Pradesh government accorded permission for offering clinical training to students studying Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Health Sciences (B.Sc) and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) courses in Saveetha Amaravati University (Vijayawada) at the Government General Hospital (GGH) in the city subject to the condition that the applicants should comply with all terms and conditions thereof and pay the clinical attachment fee to the hospitals concerned.
A G.O. (RT No. 475) was issued on Thursday by the Special Chief Secretary (Health, Medical and Family Welfare) Poonam Malakondaiah. It was stated that Saveetha Amaravati University was established in 2017-18 and sought the government’s permission to avail clinical attachment with the GGH, Vijayawada for a period of five years.
