Murder accidental, claims SDPI

Addressing a news conference here on Thursday, P. Abdul Majeed Faisi, State president, SDPI, claimed that the murder at Maharaja’s College in Kochi was “accidental” and that it did not seem to have been planned. He sought to make a difference between “party members” and “party cadres”. Mr. Faizi claimed, citing the party bylaw, that the leadership was not accountable to the activities of the members, who were just sympathisers.

However, party cadres were directly involved in party work and held positions in the hierarchy.
