‘Government trying to dilute ACB’

The Lok Satta Udyama Samstha Karimnagar district unit has ridiculed the State government’s move to dilute the powers of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) which was reigning terror among the corrupt officials of the State government.

Lok Satta district president N. Srinivas and secretary Prakash Holla flayed the State government’s instructions to reexamine the ACB case and arrest of corrupt irrigation official K. Suresh Kumar, who was arrested in the properties disproportionate to his income case recently. They alleged the move would help corrupt officials like the tainted ASI Mohan Reddy Quoting the CMS-India corruption survey 2018 which said Telangana was the second most corrupt State in the country, they said that the government’s move would make Telangana the most corrupted.. They also demanded that the govt. constitute Lok Ayukta on the lines of Karnataka.
