Office-bearers of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), led by Kris Gopalakrishnan, co-founder of Infosys, called on Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Saturday at his home office Krishna and discussed the matter of investments in the industrial sector.
According to a press release, Mr. Kumaraswamy explained the intention of the government to set up industries in various districts and invited investors in them. He promised to appoint an officer to simplify the process and ensure people don’t have to run from pillar to post.
The CII office-bearers extended an invitation to the CM for their upcoming event ‘India Innovation Summit’ on July 12, the release said.
