The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has warned managements of private self-financing professional colleges not to insist on bank guarantee for admissions from students in the light of the Kerala High Court order banning the practice.
The CEE said in a press note here on Wednesday that instructions had been issued to principals of all self-financing professional colleges in this regard citing the orders issued by the High Court in writ petitions 22843/2018 on July 9 and 23077/2018 and 23076/2018 on July 10.
The Commission published the second phase allotment to engineering, architecture and pharmacy courses for this year on its website
The allotment also covers seats earmarked under community/ registered trust/ registered society quota in private self-financing engineering/architecture colleges.
Candidates who have received fresh allotment have been advised to remit the fees to the CEE as specified in the second phase allotment memo at any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala or by way of online payment on any date from July 11 to 14 and join the course/college allotted before 5 p.m. on July 14.
