ACB traps KMC revenue inspector

Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday caught red-handed T. Adiseshaiah, revenue inspector with the Kakinada Municipal Corporation (KMC), while he was accepting bribe of Rs. 15,000 from one H. Chandramouli at the former’s residence on the Agraharam Street in Jagannaikpur.

Case registered

According to the DSP Meka Sudhakara Rao, Mr. Chandramouli approached Adiseshaiah seeking house tax fixation, for which the RI demanded bribe. Mr. Chandramouli informed the same to the ACB officials, who, in turn, laid a trap and caught him red-handed. A case was registered and investigation is on.
