While currently in jail, Young Thug released his third full-length album, Business is Business, on Friday (June 23).
A QR code posted to Young Thug’s Instagram last week broke the news about the album, directing fans to a website featuring the record’s artwork, which has a photo of the rapper in a courtroom alongside several other defendants.
A day ahead of the album’s release, executive producer Metro Boomin tweeted a version of the artwork and captioned it, “I got you for life and after that brodie,” presumably sending a message of hope to Young Thug.
The 20-track Business is Business, which is Young Thug’s first record since 2021’s Punk, features top acts such as Drake, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, fun.‘s Nate Ruess, 21 Savage, Juice WRLD, Post Malone, Doja Cat, J.Cole, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, and more.
Young Thug was arrested on gang activity and racketeering charges in Atlanta in May 2022 and has remained in Fulton County Jail since then after a judge deemed him a “danger to the community.”
