Vanessa Feltz has teased fans about her on-going “dating fortunes” after splitting from ex fiancé Ben Ofoedu.

The 61 year old TV presenter has signed up for the news series of Celebs Go Dating, which is set to hit the screens over the summer.

Love Island alumni Adam Collard and Chloe Burrows are also set to appear on the popular E4 reality show, which sees famous faces looking for love with the help of dating agents Anna Williamson and Paul C. Brunson, who this year will be joined by new sex and relationship expert Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.

This Morning agony aunt Vanessa has been single since February after the end of her 17-year relationship with Phats & Smalls singer Ben. And she took to Instagram on Friday morning to tease fans about how she is finding her new-found single status.

In a video posted to the platform, she said: “Morning all, very happy Friday to you. I’m on my way to the agency now.

“Goodness knows what gorgeous package of joy Paul, Anna and Dr Tara will have in store for me this time. How are my dating fortuners going? I’m afraid I can’t tell you.”

Dating agent Paul replied: “You’re getting a big package today.”

Vanessa revealed she had joined the cast of Celebs Go Dating last month – revealing how she was about to embark on her first date in 17 years. In a video uploaded to Instagram, she said: "OMG. Going off on my first date for Celebs Go Dating. I haven't been on a date for 17 years.

"So, just imagine how I'm feeling. I can't even find the words to describe it – and I'm good at words – so I don't know. But that is where I'm going this morning.”

And speaking to OK! at the TRIC Awards, she described her time on the show so far as being “a shock to the system” and a “wild adventure". While she kept the details of dates under wraps, Vanessa teased: “I’m not going to be getting married to him anytime soon, put it that way.”

In May, Vanessa's ex fiancé Ben opened up on how his life "spiralled out of control" following their break-up. The star discussed the difficult time in an interview given amid a highly-publicised cheating scandal.

Vanessa revealed she had split from Ben in February, as she claimed he had cheated on her by sending sexually explicit text messages to another woman. The Phats & Small musician later confirmed it was true he'd been unfaithful, in a statement on his Instagram page.
