The Dragons’ Den panellist posted a picture and a video detailing the injury.
In one of the pictures, Sara is seen holding the hand of her unnamed dance partner, who has a plaster over his finger.
The caption said: “Only day two and the injuries have already started – my pro bless him!
“Not me.”
The picture will leave fans room to speculate about which Strictly professional the hand belongs to.
Sara then posted a video to her followers, showing her fans how the injury happened, blaming her dance shoes.
The video shows Sara putting heels on with a shoe puncher, in order to make them fit her feet better.
She captioned it: “The culprit of said injury.”
Prior to this injury, Sara had posted Instagram Stories detailing what she will expect from the day ahead.
The entrepreneur said: “Apparently the only thing I did good yesterday was learn the steps.
“I just felt like some random big blob of jelly moving along the dancefloor in an orderly fashion.
“Today is all about technique, so I’m ready for it.”
Sara also posted a selfie of herself with a wide grin, with a background of her training room.
She captioned it: “Here I am waiting for my pro this morning – camera crew at the ready and a big smile on my face cos I can’t wait to get started.
“Yesterday was amazing, but I only learnt the dance by walking through the steps – I don’t think it quite constitutes ‘dancing’ – so apparently that’s on the agenda for today.”
“Really pleased with how I’ve done so far, but I know there’s a long way to go.
“Bring it on!!!”
As fans will draw from her Story, Sara has a long way to go to perfect her dancing techniques.
Fans will hope Sara’s success in business will transfer to the dance floor.
The Dragons’ Den star is very career driven, having received over 30 business awards, and in 2016, she was appointed an MBE for services to the economy.
Strictly Come Dancing will return to screens on September 18.
