Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at some of the countless celebs who’ve changed their names over the years, beginning with this actress who in April 2021 revealed that she’s now using the real spelling of her name in future projects. Melanie Thandiwe Newton, who’s long gone by her middle name professionally, was billed as Thandie — the “w” was left out — in the credits of her first film, 1991’s “Flirting,” and it stuck.
