Smash Mouth star Steve Harwell is reportedly on his deathebed and has just days to live.
The 56-year-old lead singer is facing severe health challenges and is currently in hospice care at his residence, according to TMZ.
Harwell’s manager has confirmed that he’s been grappling with health issues for years, having struggled with alcohol abuse, and the current diagnosis indicates he’s in the final stages of liver failure.
He had been undergoing treatment at a hospital until recently, but sadly it seems he is reaching the end of his life.
Friends and loved ones have been visiting Harwell at his home over the past several days, offering their support during this critical time.

The prognosis, as shared by his manager, suggests that Harwell may only have about a week left.
Nearly two years ago, fans and onlookers expressed concern after a live performance where Harwell appeared disoriented.
He exhibited unusual behavior, slurring his words, and shouting at the audience. Shortly after that incident, Harwell announced his intention to retire from the music industry.
Those close to Harwell mentioned that he’s battled various health complications over the years.
Issues Harwell has faced include cardiomyopathy, heart failure, and Wernicke’s encephalopathy. In addition, past substance abuse was identified as a possible contributing factor to his rapidly deteriorating health.
The news has deeply saddened Smash Mouth fans across the globe. Smash Mouth as a whole produced many iconic songs in the early 2000s, such as All Star and I’m a Believer.
Notably, several of their hits were featured in popular films, including the animated classic Shrek and other 2000s hits.
