Sex/Life’s Sarah Shahi and Adam Demos just made their red carpet debut as a couple

Sex/Life's real-life couple Sarah Shahi and Adam Demos made their relationship official at the People's Choice Awards as they strolled the red carpet arm in arm.

The gorgeous pair met during filming of their super-steamy and hugely-popular Netflix show, which explores the importance of sex in a marriage and sees married-with-two Billie Connelly explode everything in her life as she embarks down memory lane with ex Brad Simon (Demos).

But while it quickly became apparent the actors had taken their love affair off-screen too, with a series of Instagram snaps together and gushing captions, the pair were all-smiles as they were finally able to pose for the paparazzi in real life.

Iranian actress Sarah, 41, and Australian star Adam, 36, appeared at the awards show to support Sex/Life's nomination for "most binged" show in 2021.

Sadly, the series missed out to cultural sensation Squid Game this year, but Sarah and Adam still looked adorable posing for shots as they wrapped their arms around each other.

In one image, the soon-to-be Black Adam star even gazed up at her beau as she stared into his eyes.

The actors made their relationship Instagram official at the start of the year when they shared a selfie cozied up on the sofa together celebrating New Year's Eve.

A couple of weeks later, Adam posted a tribute to his new girlfriend on her birthday as he declared: "I f*****g love you. You’re everything."

The pair continued to document their relationship as the months went on with Chicago Fire TV star Sarah saying she'd found her "forever" in Adam.

"Not exactly sure how two people on opposite sides of the world could have more in common, were meant to meet, were meant to be together," she said in a birthday post for her boyfriend. "But I do know I met my soulmate.

"I do know I found my forever. I do know I’ve never loved deeper, harder, more ferociously. I do know I’m overly grateful for him.

"I do know I’ve loved him for a thousand lifetimes before and will love him for a thousand lifetimes more. Happy birthday my baby," the brunette beauty added.

With some fans still divided over whether Billie should end up with smouldering bad boy Brad or her good guy husband Cooper Connelly (Mike Vogel), they were over the moon to learn Netflix had decided to renew the show for a season two.

The cast shared their happiness to continue the story with Sarah informing fans to expect the next instalment in 2022.

It came amid an announcement that Sex/Life was watched by a whopping 67 million households, prompting an early renewal from the streaming giant.
