Saweetie and Quavo have officially called it quits.
The rappers, who have been romantically linked since 2018, have apparently broken up, with Saweetie announcing on Twitter Friday, “I’m single.”
The “Best Friend” rapper (real name Diamonté Harper) also called out the way Quavo (real name Quavious Marshall) allegedly treated her behind closed doors.
“I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character,” she wrote. “Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
According to Saweetie, she “emotionally checked out a long time ago” and has “walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom.”

“Excited for this new chapter of elevation,” she added.
Quavo has yet to speak out about the breakup on social media. USA TODAY has reached out to reps for both rappers for comment.
In an interview with Page Six, published in May 2020, Quavo gushed about his then-girlfriend, saying Saweetie brings “something very special to the game” of hip-hop music.
I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.
“She speaks for the pretty college girls that are taking the regular route. You don’t have to be a stripper, you don’t have to be a bartender, you don’t have to take the Instagram model route,” he said. “I feel like she’s speaking for those nice, teenage girls who listen to their parents and go to school.”
In a 2018 interview on “The Real,” Saweetie reacted to rumors that she and Quavo were dating, saying she thought the Migos member was “cute.”
“We’ve been getting to know each other,” she said. “I enjoy his company.”
