The end of an era is coming in just a few weeks!
At the end of this month, Riverdale will air it’s final episode ever on The CW.
The drama series is currently in the midst of it’s seventh and final season, and there’s only a few episodes left of the show.
Ahead of the upcoming finale, the episode’s synopsis has just been revealed by the network, and gives us a little insight as to what we can expect.

In the series finale, titled, “Chapter One Hundred Thirty-Seven: Goodbye, Riverdale,” back in present day and longing for her former life in Riverdale, 86-year-old Betty (Lili Reinhart) turns to a special friend to help her relive her last day of senior year with her friends as they were, their memories restored.
Also starring in the finale episode for one last time are series regulars KJ Apa, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Madchen Amick, Casey Cott, Charles Melton, Vanessa Morgan and Drew Ray Tanner also star. Noticeably missing from that list is Erinn Westbrook, who joined the series in season five. This doesn’t mean she’s not in it though.
Creator and showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa penned the episode.
The series finale of Riverdale will air on Wednesday, August 23rd at 9pm ET/PT, following the series finale of Nancy Drew.
