Peloton has removed the viral advert starring Sex And The City star Chris Noth from its social media in light of the sexual assault allegations against him.
Two women have come forward to accuse Noth, 67, of sexual assault in separate incidents which allegedly took place in 2005 and 2015. However, the actor – best known for playing Mr Big in the SATC franchise – has vehemently denied the allegations saying they are ‘categorically false’.
Hours after The Hollywood Reporter published claims from the two women, Peloton announced they had taken down the advert which they released on Sunday starring Noth.
Spoilers ahead for And Just Like That
The actor returned to screens this month in HBO Max’s And Just Like That, a new chapter of SATC. However, fans were given a shock when Noth’s character, Mr Big, was killed off in the first episode when he suffered a heart attack after a rigorous workout on his Peloton.
The fitness equipment company acted quickly off the back of the buzz and released a short witty clip which saw Mr Big return with Ryan Reynolds narrating.

It has since been removed from Peloton’s social media channels following mounting calls from their followers to do so in light of the allegations against Noth.
Peloton said in a statement released to the Mail Online: ‘Every single sexual assault accusation must be taken seriously. We were unaware of these allegations when we featured Chris Noth in our response to HBO’s reboot.
‘As we seek to learn more, we have stopped promoting this video and archived related social posts.’
Noth released a statement denying the sexual assault allegations to Metro.co.uk, saying: ‘The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false.
‘These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out.’
He added: ‘I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.’
The two women spoke to THR using pseudonyms to protect their identities.
Zoe, now 40, was aged 22 when she claims to have met Noth at the firm she worked at with high-profile celebrities as clients.
She alleges that Noth, aged 49 at the time, invited her to his apartment in a West Hollywood building where he allegedly moved her toward the bed, pulled off her shorts and began to rape her.
The second accuser, Lily (again a pseudonym), was a server in the VIP section of former New York nightclub No.8 in 2015 when she allegedly met Noth.
As the evening progressed, Lily said she began to feel increasingly drunk but wasn’t close to blacking out. Noth allegedly invited her to his Greenwich Village apartment to sample his collection of whiskeys.
She alleged he tried to kiss her which she ‘cautiously entertained’, but he became increasingly persistent. After leaving his apartment, Lily told her friend he had ‘forcibly’ had sex with her but she refused to go to the police.
Noth starred in 41 episodes of HBO TV series Sex And The City until 2004. He then reprised the character in the two SATC movies as well as one episode of the spin-off And Just Like That.
