Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen and her large family have kept viewers entertained, while giving insight into their home life while working on their land. The Channel 5 show usually airs at 9pm every Tuesday, but fans were left gutted this week after the reality farm series was dropped from it’s regular spot.
Our Yorkshire Farm was replaced with the drama Anne Boleyn, which stars Jodie Turner-Smith as the Tudor Queen.
Amanda recently took to Instagram to share a post of the coldest places in the UK and viewers swiftly inundated the comment section to share their disappointment.
In view of her 331,000 followers, she penned: “Top of the leaderboard for the coldest places in the UK yesterday morning but it did not stop us taking the plunge!”
She added the hashtags: “#yorkshire #hardy #wildswimming #coldwaterswimming.”
One person fumed: “Hi Amanda, I’m really disappointed there is no episode of Our Yorkshire Farm tonight. I thought there was one left.”
Another agreed: “I’ve just noticed the same. I was really looking forward to it. It’s the only thing we put the TV on for.”
“Disappointed not to see tonight’s episode, feel very upset about it,” a third added.
While a fourth penned: “Just set up the telly in our motorhome in Scotland to watch this, very disappointed. And my husband isn’t amused as it took a while to get a signal!”
The shepherdess has since spoken out following the sudden change of Channel 5’s programming, reacting to a social media user on Twitter.
In view of her 167,000 followers, Amanda shared a candid clip from her Yorkshire Farm of her cows.
She penned: “It’s been a long time coming but finally… grass day for the cows.”
A social media user replied: “Great to see – I think like millions we missed you all on Tuesday.”
