Maisie Smith shocks fans as she reveals her age on milestone birthday

EastEnders star Maisie Smith has left fans in awe as she celebrated her birthday with a stunning photo that revealed her surprising age.

The Strictly beauty looked incredible in a pink strappy dress that showcased her figure.

Standing on a balcony in Abu Dhabi, where she is currently on a romantic getaway with partner, The Wanted star Max George, 34, Maisie stunned in the short pastel pink number, paired with platform shoes and her fiery red locks styled in bouncy natural curls.

Taking to social media, the talented actress shared the picture along with the caption: "Twenty two.

Fans were quick to share their surprise at the star’s young age, with one writing: “22? Wow. What a great life experience you’ve had so far.”

Another penned: “I can’t believe you’re only 22!”

A third added: “How are we the same AGE? I can’t believe it.”

To make her birthday even more special, Max also dedicated his own birthday post to Maisie, sharing pictures of their holiday together with the caption: "Happy birthday my gorgeous girl. Every day with you is… Different… I LOVE it. You're the most special person in my life. I love you Mais."

Max then shared an image of the pair’s hotel room, which was filled with 'happy birthday' balloons, as well as two swans kissing made out of towels.

The loved-up pair recently took the next step in their relationship, making the big decision to move in together.

Speaking to OK! about how she and Max have been enjoying some downtime lately, she said: "We both agreed to chill and take our mind off everything and enjoy moving in together.

"It's such a big chapter in a relationship and it was the first time we've been together where I haven't been on tour, so we barely left the house."

Maisie and Max first confirmed their relationship in November 2022, two years after first meeting on Strictly. The couple's 13-year age gap has come under scrutiny, but Maisie insists the loved-up couple are "perfect for each other".

She added: "When you're in a new relationship, people have a lot to say. But we've been together a while now, and we've proven our love isn't just for the cameras.

"We're genuinely two best friends, in love, and we're so happy. We still get negative comments."

The pair have previously teased fans with engagement rumours when back in October the smitten pair posted photos from their "baecation" in Cyprus, where Maisie appeared to have a diamond ring sitting on the wedding finger of her left hand, prompting their fans to go into overdrive with speculation.

One person commented: "Is that an engagement ring?" while another said: "I thought the same". A third questioned: "Is that a ring? On your RING FINGER?!"
